Does anyone know what I do with kale? Someone recommended it to me, it's low in calories and good for digestion.
Can I eat it raw like lettuce or does it need to be cooked?
Anyone got any recipes?
Thanks in advance!

Put oven to 175c
Put kale on a baking sheet
With a knife or scissors carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash. Spray with frylight and sprinkle with seasoning salt.
Bake for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Slimming World treat this as a tweak if used as a snack but if you have it with a meal it should be ok.

Mmmm crispy... Kale is a bit odd though isn't it? Like cabbage and seaweed.

Thank you!

hmmm. doesn't appeal to me So it's like cripsy, right? Do you eat it on it's own or is it a side dish? What does it go with?

I love it! It's nice raw in a salad, shredded and scrunched with lemon juice. Kale chips are good like huntress said. I had it in an omelette tonight, it's good in soups, the kids asked for it in pasta sauce tonight. Honestly I love it and eat so much! You can boil it and have it as a side too, like with a roast or something!
