Hello

Hey, I started Slimming world last Wednesday. I have 2stone 6 and half to loose, my little boy was playing up while she was trying to explain everything to me so rushed through it. I came home and read the books she gave me etc. But I seem to be ending every day on between 10 - 15 syns. Is this right or wrong? Should I go for less syns? Will it speed up my weight loss?

Hello hunny!

Everyone seems different. Only advice I ever heard was not to aim for 0 syns every day. I aimed for 5-10 per day although sometimes less, I'm naughty weekends so Mondays were always extra good ha! I tried to avoid using my syns for breads and cereals though ...

Took me a while to get the SW plan into my head but as soon as it is it clicks straight away and you wonder what was so confusing x

I personally didn't see pasta, rice and potatoes as free, total moderation without needing to syn is the way I viewed them x

I try to limit pasta etc, as I feel over full when eating them. I meant fruit and veg x
