In need of motivation

Hi everyone, I joined slimming world back in April and have lost nearly 2 stone (only 2 lb to go) which I'm really pleased about. However when I look in the mirror and at old photos of myself I don't see any difference in me now to when I started. My clothes don't feel looser and according to my sw consultant 10 lb is the same as a dress size so in theory I should be nearly 3 dress sizes smaller, which I'm not. So feeling really disheartened at the moment, if I don't look any different then what's the point?

Also when you are feeling down/rubbish/anoid, what do you do to stop yourself reaching for the biscuits/cakes/crisps or all of the above?

Sorry if this is a bit of a rant, I'm new to forums and not really sure what's the norm. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum!
Sorry you are feeling so disheartened, it can be hard when you feel like you can't see results. You have done so well with the weight loss though.
It can be hard to stay on track when you are feeling disheartened. Maybe you have gained some muscle if you have been exercising?

Thanks for the welcome. I think I may just be being negative, speaking to friends they say they can def see a difference in me. Just hard sometimes.

How do you stay motivated?
