Slipped off the wagon

I have had a real rough day. Been to work for 8 hours, which was hard work, tiring, a physical drain of all my efforts. I picked up two bickering children who one has since had a massive tantrum with full on kicking and screaming, and trying to run away and then they cherubs refused to eat their spag Bol made before I went to work because I knew we would be late back. Neither have eaten, for no reason other than I don't like it.
They've had it so many times before!

I've just been to tesco for milk and bought a gu pudding. I need sugar for when they're in bed, I need indulgencs and I need to forget this bad day. Work again tomorrow and not holding hope for a better day.

Forgive me for my slip up, but I'm sure as hell going to enjoy it.

Sounds like one of those days where everything has tested your patience and the calm wand wasn't working, we all have them

Oh my youngest doesn't like everything apparently, my 2 get a small pudding sometimes a choc cake sometimes strawberries and if they aren't eating they don't get the goodies in front.

Battling the comfort food is the hardest part when you it you 1-0 comfort cravings it feels great but sometimes we just can't and all I'd say is just make sure it's you 0-1 comfort and not 0-5 iykwim?

Have you tried goodies that would be a better choice?
- Homemade granola bars
- High cocoa chocolate
- Sugar free jelly and lighter cream with fruit berries (mini size buttons for an extra but never every time)
- Muller and fruit berries (mini size buttons for an extra but never every time)
- Add a meringue to the odd yog and berries and choc shot sauce or honey
- options hot choc with some marshmallows

I don't think 1 gu pudding will ruin your week though hope you have a better day tomorrow x

I've not tried what you suggested but to be honest after that day I needed my gu. They are my pure treat. My indulgence when it's just me.
It didn't ruin my week like you said. I lost 2.5lb this week despite of the gu. I did try hard though

It sounded like you had such a stressful day! It can be so hard to stick to plan when you have had such a hard day.

I've never heard of gu pudding before but hope you enjoyed it. We all need treats every now and again
