Quark!!

Hi all....has anyone tried quark? If so what's it like an how do u use it I mean it's a form of cheese so can u put it on rivitas etc I haven't a clue lol

I have used it but have forgotten what for I always forget to pick some up.

Can use it in cheesecakes, as cream cheese, dips and pasta meals.

I think it's more for cooking and baking rather than eating on it's own as it's quite bitter.

I made the SW Bannoffee cheesecake with it at the weekend and had to add loads of sweetener.

I really wanted to like quark, but it is dull in flavour

I've used it instead of cream or cream cheese in cooking. Pasta dishes work well with it (carbonara for one) and also with a little stevia in it and then make an eton mess with fresh berries. I haven't eaten it on its own, agree I think it's a bit bland but a good substitute for cooking.

Add a sachet of Options drinking chocolate along with a little sweetener and enjoy it with fruit or on it's own. Yummy. Count the syns in the Options (2.5)

Oh adding options to it sounds bizarre but I might get a tub of this.
