New to this

Wow, I go off the forum for a few days to spend with the kids over half term and come back to a fair few new sw members. Yay!

Awww thanks. Have done slimming world before but years ago. I expect a lot has changed. X

They still have the same plans but the main one is now called extra easy!

I did it a while ago too. Still getting into it but that is probably more to do with being too chicken to go to the groups. I have all the books and signed up to the online version of sw but I'm slowly getting my head around building menus around as many free foods as possible (so I can still have a drink at the weekend ) Maybe I'll brave going to a group eventually but I know I'll be the only guy there

Mitch u should go along to the groups there so supportive an keep u motivated. no one there judges there all there to get the same result - to lose the weight 😃. The last group I went to years ago had a couple of blokes there. It's not just women who suffer with weight gain. Yeah my weakness is drinking but nowadays I don't drink as much it's more chocolate an crisps now lol. I think I.ll probably just stick to mainly red days. I seem to lose more weight doin red days than green

Hi Lisa and a very warm welcome to you. I join SW 2 and a bit weeks ago. I lost 4 lb first wk and 2 lb the second. My weigh in day is Wednesday evening. I'm enjoying the plan so far, my key is planning my meals in advance without which i would surely struggle.

I had some great results with the extra easy but I did ignore the pasta, rice and potatoes as 'free' ... I never stopped eating those foods but I certainly cut down and served less on my plate when I did have them.
