Some of my Slimming World meals on Extra Easy plan

I know these are going to look MASSIVE haha, but I don't snack between meals and don't always finish them (always make sure I eat my veggies first ) If you are following a low carb diet - best look away now haha

Just thought it might help a few of the SW new people, even though a third superfree is a recommendation, I do always try and divide my plate up and make sure I have a third superfree (lunch I usually have mostly superfree) - and it really does help, see very good losses most weeks

Thai Fishcakes - from Taste of Asia SW cookbook

Spicy Bean Burgers from SW website - I only ate 1 - so filling

Spicy Chicken - Fakeaways recipe book SW

Magic Pancakes using 35g oats as Heb

Batch of mini potato rosties with ham in, ready for lunches

Ham, egg, salad, Oven baked wedges (no oil)

Bunless Burger (just mince with salt and pepper, didn't add anything else)

SW BBQ - Peri Peri Chicken, burgers, veg kebabs - all eaten with a big salad

Thanks, the marinade I use (and I use it as a sauce on the table all the time as well) Is home made peri peri sauce (syn free too - result! I think it might be free on WW too from what I remember of WW)

Syn Free Peri Peri Sauce

I can't buy the Nando's sauces in Denmark so I made this and it tastes really good.

Ingredients
Fry Light
2 Red Peppers
2 Tablespoons of White Wine Vinegar
2 Teaspoons of Salt
Pinch of sweetener
3 red chilli peppers roughly chopped
3 Birds eye chilli peppers (or more if you want it really spicy) roughly chopped
5 cloves of garlic peeled and crushed slightly
1 tablespoon of Mixed Herbs

Method
Roughly chop and put all the ingredients together in a bowl.

Heat a non stick frying pan on the hob and spray with fry light.

Add all the ingredients and move around for 1-2 minutes

Add approx 70ml water and leave gently simmering for 10 minutes

Remove from the heat and allow to cool

Blend with a hand blender or a food processor and bottle or put in a clean jam jar.

SW Spiced Chicken - Fakeaways Book

Serves 4
1.5 syns on EE and Original
21 syns on Green Days

Ready in 45 minutes

Ingredients:
150g Tomato piree
1 egg white
2tsp cayenne pepper
2tsp Garlic salt
1tbsp mixed herbs (dried)
12 skinless and boneless chicken thighs
60g wholemeal roll torn into pieces
Low calorie cooking spray
Fresh ground black pepper
Parsley
Lemon wedges

Method:
Preheat oven to 220C (Fan 200C) and line an oven tray with non-stick baking paper.

Mix the cayenne pepper, tomato puree, garlic salt and mixed herbs in a large bowl and season with black pepper. Whisk the egg white in a clean bowl until it forms stiff peaks, then fold in the tomato puree mixture.

Whizz the roll into crumbs and then transfer onto a plate.

Dip the chicken in the egg mixture and then roll in the breadcrumbs, coating evenly. Place chicken onto the baking tray. Once all the chicken is coated spray with the low calorie cooking spray and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes.

Thank you. I love fakeaway stuff. It always makes me wonder when things can be done so much healthier without losing taste why it isn't done commercially more often. I bet if someone deconstructed some of these slimming world recipes and sold commercially they'd make a fortune. Would just need to license the Slimming World name like Heinz have with Weight Watchers

True Mitch There is a little cafe in Loughborough of all places, called Saints and Sinners (don't know if it's still there) but I know they did a "light menu" for the saints and a full fat one for the sinners thought it was a brilliant idea - I believe they also had WW points values and SW syns listed too. Sadly I am not in the wrong country to try it out haha
