Thank you Bevziibubble and sarahc4536. The procedure went well. Unfortunately, the biopsy detected abnormal cells so I must go back to the hospital very soon. Please keep me in your thoughts.
But my weigh-in was interesting tonight. I lost 6.5 pounds this week. I guess it's a mixture of stress, worry and food optimising for the most part. And, I can't complain. I also got Slimmer of the Week and my first stone award.

Oh Tomato. I've been so wrapped up with friends problems and going about my routine I haven't been in here much. I am so sorry to hear about this biopsy. I was going to post a about Slimmer of the week. WELL DONE!! but your news has taken a bit of the shine off it for me.Do please keep us up to speed on things. I'm a Humanist, and have no religion but many of my friends do so I'm asking them to put 'Tomato' in their prayers. if it does no good it will do no harm.

Week Eight: 1 pound gain. I guess the 6 1/2 pound weight loss last week is catching up with me.
Anyway, I am not bothered. I could tell I had put on some weight and I am glad it was only one pound. I can deal with that. Just keep on keeping on. And even though I put on a pound I picked up my Bronze Body Magic award tonight. But where are the Bronze Badges on this site?
By the way, I went to see the surgeon last week and I was told that the biopsy detected abnormal cells. They might not even be cancerous so this is being caught in a very early stage. Still waiting for my operation but feeling ok...better than ok, in fact.

That happens to me a lot... good loss, small gain ,we'll get there just not as fast as the clever dickies. That sounds so positive about the cells. I'm a very old fashioned, out of date, nurse but even in my day the prognosis would have been very promising so these days it sounds FANTASTIC.
We are off on a coach tour in November. 7 days in Oban. It's a bit of a pilgrimage for me. When my granny died in 1967 when I was 17, my mum had a last minute booking for a holiday, just for the 2 of us to get away. It was September and we went to Scotland. I fell in love with the country. I've lived and holidayed(?) all over the world but Scotland and the Scots will always have a place in my heart

Yes, Oban is a very charming place. I went there once. I live near Grantown-on-Spey if you are going to have a detour down the middle.
By the way, my youngest son lives in Caerphilly.

There is a thread for the badges to go in your signature, it just isn't easy for me to link to it from my phone. It'll be either in the SW sections, as a pinned thread (at the top of the list) or somewhere off the main page. If I find it I'll let you know!

Hi sarahc4536,
I've been back to that thread but I still can't find the bronze badge. I can only see the silver, gold and platinum. Please let me know if you find it, thanks.

Ah, maybe Wobbles can add it to the thread... I know she helped create the badges originally... I'll comment!
