Thanks guys!

Well done on all your awards PurpleJ, nice collection you have going there!

My course is Japanese Studies, so it's the language and the history, politics, etc. Mainly there for the language though ^_^

Amazing! My daughter is doing languages - she has done GCSE Welsh Spanish and English and doing A levels English & Spanish, she's thinking of doing Spanish and French at Uni - but it's early days as only just starting college next week.

Hope you enjoy your year!

PurpleJ and Matt - huge congratulations on your awards!

You've done brilliantly!

I'm afraid, despite last week only being half a pound away from my 7 stone, I can't join you in the awards department.

I was totally disappointed to see a 2lb gain tonight.

I have had a busy week, and have had a number of meals out. However, I did make good choices at each meal, and I have walked miles this weekend at a VW Show, and then 9 hours around LEGOLAND yesterday. I was therefore honestly hoping to see that half pound gone, or at worst case, a maintain.

Anyway....enough of my moaning. I'll just keep plodding on. I've got overnight oats prepped and in the fridge ready for tomorrow morning, and syn-free soup made and ready for lunch. I've decided to write everything down this week on a food diary, so hope to see a good loss next week.

Hope you all have a fab week.

Wow, didn't even know GCSE Welsh would still be a thing! :P But then I don't live in Wales so... :P And thanks! I think losing weight will allow me to enjoy it so much more, much less self conscious now.

Aw Looby, you'll get it back off soon enough. Our bodies do what they do, even though it doesn't always make sense.

I did overnight oats once and wasn't impressed, aha. I just put some honey oats with a toffee muller light, just prefer having beans on toast tbh :P

Matt - Welsh is compulsory to GCSE and often jobs are seeking Welsh speakers, first language schools are out there too, though colleges and uni's are all English first so first language welsh speakers do struggle a little in transitioning from Welsh learning to English. It's made something of a comeback and road signs are all Welsh first English second the further you get from the M4.

Looby - you'll soon have that shifted, the overall losses for the month or even more are what matters. Sounds like you had a fab week - jealous of the VW show! lol

Best weather of the week today and I'm working (typical) for the next 3 days.. off for my anniversary and back in day after. Trying to get my fit log done again this week but work days impact on it as I'm on my feet for 9 hours I never fancy exercise. it doesn't count towards it though so need to do something...

Have a great week!

Thanks Elen - I'm inspired by those who have lost so much too - it really means it's possible by normal people! Just got to keeping going one meal at a time.

I'm sure you can do well - just keep to plan, lots of free foods for snacks and water too

Looby - thank you for such an amazing post - I'm pretty sure that I will see a gain on Sunday but your attitude after your gain is fab, and I'm going to take inspiration from it and get right back on plan!
