Leek and Macaroni Cheese help?
Has anyone tried this reciepe? Mine was okay, but it tasted like macaroni in a cheese and leek omelette and found it really bizarre! Would love to know if anyone has tried it and if I'm going wrong!!

I haven't tried any of the macaroni recipes yet, although I keep meaning to make one! But I've always been bothered about the amount of eggs in all these SW recipes... I hate eggs so I'm always convinced it'll just taste like eggs
I was thinking of making a macaroni recipe for a taster session we've got at group on Monday, at least then if it does taste quite eggy I won't be left with a load of it

I based my comment on the fact Amy said it tasted like an omelette.
To be fair there are quite a few macaroni cheese recipes across the website and the magazines and recipe books, but I know I've seen a couple that use eggs. And cottage cheese (ewww!)

I totally forgot to buy quark today while I was in sainsburys, I wonder if the recipe would work with cottage cheese? I have plenty of that!! if not I will probably use another recipe I've found on the site
cottage cheese is now a permanent fixture in my fridge!!

Never been a fan of cottage cheese! When you use it in cooking is the flavour strong enough to taste when mixing with other ingredients? Really curious to see if I could get on with using it as a regular ingredient.

I use it in the crustless quiche and I love it but then I love cottage cheese anyway; I wouldn't say it has a 'strong' taste but it helps to like it in the first place...why not have a go and make a mini version and see how you go?
a friend of mine at work swears she hates cottage cheese but she loves my crustless quiche!! and she knows that I put cottage cheese in it!!

Just popped this in the oven ..I have to say I found the mixture quite dry, so I've added a touch more water and almost another tub of quark..will let you know how it goes!!
