Fakeaway - Pizza Base

Morning all! As some of you might know, my husband is also doing Slimming World, and he has only moaned about missing 3 things, Danish Hot Dogs (have to be seen to be believed hahaha) Bread and Pizza. I did try making the wrap pizza for him, but he didn't like it. So tonight we are trying one from the Fakeaways book. Thought I would share the recipe for the base and the pizza sauce - it's supposed to be very nice

PIZZA BASE:

1 Pizza serves 4 people
5.5 syns on all plans
Ready in 20 minutes

Ingredients:
125g Strong Flour
1 Tsp Salt
7g Instant Yeast

Method:
Put the flour in a large mixing bowl, stir in the yeast and salt. Make a well in the middle and pour 75ml of warm water. Mix with a spoon until you have soft slightly wet dough. Dust the surface with flour. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth and cover with a tea towel until you are ready to roll. Once rolled, slide your pizza base onto a baking sheet.

TOMATO PIZZA SAUCE
Free on all plans

Ingredients:
4 shallots finely chopped
3 garlic cloves crushed
2 tsp Oregano
400g can of chopped tomatoes
4 tbsp tomato puree
Handul of finely chopped basil
Salt and Pepper

Method:
Put everything in a pan and cook over a low heat for 25 minutes until you have a thick spreadable sauce. Season well.

This is the results - it's a bit messy haha, I portioned it out before cooking so I could put everyone's cheese allotment on separately was using HEa. Tasted really nice. We topped it with cajun chicken (just covered some chicken fillets in a cajun seasoning and cooked) and some red and yellow peppers.
