Hi, I'm Stuart, 43 years old and situated in deepest, darkest Essex.
Recently diagnosed with diabetis which has rather mithed me as I'm of average weight, fairly fit and active and no other health issues.
I guess the fact that I'm a chef by profession could have something to do with it, although I still maintain that sweets and desserts tested as part of my job do not count in any way as regards calories.

I think a diabetes forum is one of the top on the list of new forums planned. My mum and good mate has diabetes. Both maintain it differently. My mum never gets her insulin right and struggles with her weight, but my mate is slim as. Are you managing it on diet or injections?
