Our family is small but we have many pets so that making shopping for deals a must for me. Every week I am checking out deals at different (close-by) stores. Does anyone else shop weekly and if you do, are you doing a challenge to beat the deals you saved on from the week prior?

I do my main shopping every other week and then supplement the necessities like bread, milk, and eggs every week. I'll also follow the weekly store ads to see if there is anything on sale that I should pick up. My challenge is having enough money to make it through the month.

The store ads are what get me every time. I don't mind shopping but I try to always hit the store when most people are not there, the crowds get to be too much for me.

I prefer to do my main shopping monthly so that I'm assured of having supplies in my house throughout. The perishables and semi-perishables are daily and weekly chores. I don't find many deals on those, but I do get enough deals on my monthly purchases, and I always hunt for the bargains.

Has anyone heard tried some of the websites that will deliver to your house? I found two, one that was great and another that was overly priced on just about everything.

I've never tried that, but I sure have been tempted a few times. I hate grocery shopping. It was a lot more fun before the prices got so way out of hand.

The better half is hitting the store today since I can not drive with the medicine I am taking now. When you order using places like Alice.com they do have some good prices but you need to check them all out. Some items might be cheap while others that you need are higher. For me I only use is about two or three times a year.

I have done some online grocery shopping through Amazon. I've ordered granola bars, cereal, spice, jarred and canned goods. That comes in handy for many of the pantry items you just want to have on hand.

I love finding great deals and I now only buy mayo in built for my husband's lunches. I need to try and visit a bulk shopping store, his mother keeps trying to talk us into it but work has been slammed lately. By the time the weekend rolls around I am just too tired to deal with yet another store.
