Completely new to SW - help!

Hi everyone!

As a complete newbie I am still trying to get my head around everything after my first meeting last week. I'm in for my weekly weigh-in tomorrow and have noticed on the scales that I am already a few pounds down. I just feel a bit worried that I am eating such large quantities of food, especially a lot of sugary foods on SW! I'm staying between 5 - 10 SYNS per day but all the fruit and my daily Mullerlight just seems like a lot of sugar. Any reassurance would be greatly appreciated

Looking forward to getting more involved in the forum!

Welcome to social slimmers

The fruit is good for you. I know it seems like a lot of sugar, but they're speed foods for a reason.
They help you lose the weight
And if the rest of your food is all from the free, speed or protein lists (not including your synned foods) then it's good.
Don't force yourself to eat such a big plate of food though, if you aren't hungry enough, then don't force it. However, don't feel like you should starve yourself. If you are hungry, just look at how much protein food is on your plate. Aim for 1/3 of your plate to be protein as that's what keeps you feeling full

From what you've said, you seem to be doing everything right, but if you want to you can create a food diary thread and we can help out where needed
