As the title says I'm due to become a bride in 2018, well May to be precise. I have quite a bit of weight to lose and as money is tight due to paying for a wedding I have decided to do slimming world from home.

I have a graduation next September as well so I would like to lose 2 stone by graduation so that I look fab in the photos.

I have done every diet there is and clearly failed miserably because here I am still 4 stone overweight. I have had successes along the way but never managed to keep the weight off.

So with 2 mahooooosive goals in mind I pledge to following the slimming world plan, to follow it through the good times and the bad times and to help and support everyone else on here and together we can get to our goals.

Hi, Mary! Congratulations on your engagement. I understand your goals. I'm a first year radiotherapy student and I really want to look healthy and trim by graduation, which I'm sure you will. We can support each other. Oh, and, when the going gets hard, be comforted by the thought that you have less to lose than I. Good luck! I know I'll need it. That, a whole lot of motivation and discipline.
