Hi! Newbie here, first day...

I joined slimming world last week and finding it a little difficult, looking to lose weight and get healthy. Any advice and tips greatly appreciated xxx

Hi chamer, welcome to Social Slimmers

You've made a start by finding out how to start a new thread, and you've obviously figured out how to reply to messages so you're on a roll

There are tons of threads over on the Slimming World pages, and feel free to start your own diary thread if you want to.
There are lots of us that follow SW (or have in the past) so there are plenty of people able to offer advice and suggestions if you get stuck with the plan.

There's plenty of friendly people on here for support

Good luck and I look forward ot seeing you around the forum!

thankyou ladies!

feeling so much more positive today! I don't need a weigh in to tell me I'm on right track, kinda feeling it today. Ate what I would call a hearty tea last night and woke up to not even thinking about breakfast! (a definite first!) First day too without my beloved brew! I can't even remember the last time I didn't grab for the tea bags before my eyes are open! xx

Just fresh in now from a morning walk with the poor dogs, (never had so many walkies!) Going to tuck into some mushrooms on toast and then see what this 30 day squat and arm challenges are all about xx #BodyMagic eh?? x

Hope youre all doing well and on track !! xx

Good luck with the 30 day challenges!
I've done them before and enjoyed doing them - I did the squat and the plank ones.

If you are increasing your exercise as well as being on SW, you may want to take your measurements. Seeing those reduce is always such a huge booster to help keep you on plan
(I realise you may have done this, I'm just hoping to be a little helpful if I can lol)
