General fitness training

General fitness training works towards broad goals of overall health and well-being, rather than narrow goals of sport competition, larger muscles or concerns over appearance.

General Fitness Training is a systematic, scientifically-based program designed to give athletes the fundamental tools they need to adjust to the physical demands of the controlled activity. By putting the body under a controlled physical demand through exercise, adaptation can start.
