Hi from Dallas, Texas
Newbie...
I joined for Support of course, support others and to be ACCOUNTABLE!
I have 30 lbs. to lose (maybe more?) and it's not going to be easy at 42.

Hi Stacy, welcome to the board. I'm 43 now and yes, it's definitely a lot slower at our age but it can be done!

Hi Stacy! Welcome to the forums!
Nothing is impossible, the group I attend has plenty of women at least 10 years older than yourself who are still losing weight, one has just lost 2 stone in a few months! (I think she's been with us for 4 or 5 months)
Good luck!!! x

Hi StacyH, welcome to the board. I have a friend who has been large all his life. He is in his early 40's and over the past year managed to lose close on 11 stone. Looks like a different fella Still it gives me hope it is possible. He just started walking a bit more every day and trying to make better food choices. Recording what worked and what didn't. Now he has a routine that works for him. Good luck with finding yours. There are many people here who will be glad to help and chat with as you take your journey. Have fun.
