Newbie

Hey guys

I'm joining this site as i'm trying the Slimming World diet. I felt talking to people who have experience in healthy cooking would be a good idea!

I lost 8 stone back in 2012 which was going to have me on course for my goal weight but I got in all sorts of bother with gallstones and had to get the gallbladder removed in the end, all of which threw my routine out of sorts completely.

I've went up 2 stone since then so i'm trying to get back into the habits and found being 'obsessive' about it helps. So hopefully this forum will help that!

Look forward to speaking to you all.

Kevin

Hello Kevin,

I'm the same as you, I've found being obsessive about it has really helped and keeps in my mind what I want and why. Unfortunately my other half, family and friends aren't so interested as I think I may have bored them to tears. So it's lovely to be able to come on here and meet like minded people.

Good luck, I look forward to sharing our journeys!

I think that's why i'm struggling. The first time I was able to go on about it and people were proud etc. This time it's kinda 'been there done that' sort of thing.

So you folk will get it instead!
