Given the ok

So j saw my consultant today and he has said as long as my body doesn't go into ketosis then I'm ok to do any form or dieting where ketosis isn't key.

He has said that when i start treatment I will struggle with food anyway, but it's best not to commit to anything too religious in terms of diet as I need my body strength.

But he's happy for me to "diet" in a way that works best for me, till I have my op, and treatment so I'm happy with that.

Congrats on getting the go-ahead. Sounds to me like you are okay to do pretty much any diet except Atkins (or any other low-carb/high-protein variations). Good luck!

I'm not good with diets that consume food but gonna give it a good try, just gotta find one that works.

Gonna try my own shakes/smoothies and work alongside that I think

Shakes and smoothies are a great way to help you lose weight when you use them as meal replacements. As a bonus, they taste way better homemade than if you buy them already made! Good luck.

So with them as a meal replacement my body wouldn't go into ketosis would it??
