Foods and plyometrics

I just started a new video set that I came across and it is all about plyometrics which is new to me but with my body sore it seems I am doing it right. Now comes to the question, if I am burning more than normal doing these intense workouts what is the best fuel for my body after it is over? Are there certain foods to avoid?
