Another year, another diet!

Hi everyone, I'm sure I am not the only one that keeps losing and gaining the same weight over and over. Last year I kept a chart and despite trying to lose weight all year managed to finish the year 3lbs heavier than I started it. This year I am determined to do better and hopefully joining a forum like this will help. I don't plan to follow any specific plan, just healthy eating switching to low fat and cutting out, or at least reducing, the unhealthy things like alcohol!

Hi Sue

I know what you mean. I started out with all the best intentions last year and totally blew it in the last month

This year will be better. I'm not any plan either - wondering if that's my downfall?

Welcome to the forum. Good luck for this year

I am in that same boat with you, losing and gaining the same 20 pounds over and over again. I finally broke down and joined Weight Watchers, so I've turned over a new leaf and plan to make the weight loss permanent in 2014. Welcome to the forum and here's to permanent weight loss!!!

Hi Soupey and welcome to the forum. I know how you feel as far as the yo-yo dieting goes. It sounds like you're on the right track, though, and trying to lose weight by eating healthier instead of fad diets. Good luck!
