I made a big pot and keep it in the fridge and microwave it when I am feeling hungry. I only need to eat a few spoonfuls and it satisfies me especially if I put it over a banana, or apple, and sprinkle on a little cinnamon.
That's a good idea Jeans. Oatmeal is a healthy filler. I know when I have it for breakfast I never get hungry during the morning. I'll have to give this a try.
I also eat a lot of oatmeal. I pay extra for steel cut oats because I read they are healthier. I'll chop up some apples or blueberries and mix them in with some honey. It is so good!
Oatmeal is great and I really wish I liked it, but I don't. I have tried to fancy it up as best as possible too. Kids and husband love it but to me it tastes like mush. I can not seem to get myself to eat more than a bite at a time.
