Spicy Mango & Avocado Sorbet
I was experimenting with desserts to serve after a 'Mexican Night' dinner and made this. It turned out pretty well and has sweetness together with a hit of heat from the chilli. The following gives about 6 - 8 small portions and works out at 35-45 calories per portion. You could also add some chopped mango and/or blueberries to serve with it.
1 mango
Half a small ripe avocado
2 tablespoons of low fat natural yoghurt
Half a small red chilli, finely chopped (remove seeds if you don't want it too hot)
Zest and juice of one lime
Half a teaspoon of honey
Put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth (you will have to switch the blender off every so often and move the ingredients down).
Into a freezer proof tub with a lid and freeze. Every so often during freezing process mix it through with a fork.
(Sorry can't add pic ~ I took one but have no idea how to put it on here). ETA: Just read how to add a pic so hopefully it has appeared now #fingerscrossed
ETA: IT WORKED!!!

Thank you Wobbles. I really enjoy it so hope you do when you give it a go :-)
Will let you know. I've so many ideas swirling through my head but food prep time is a nightmare and I end up buying ingredients then going with something else easier/less faff ha!
I am always faffing around with food Wobbles :-D I love making up new tastes and seeing how they go. Some are disasters of course but some are delish. I have been working a lot on making dishes I have always loved lower in fats which is working out pretty good mostly.
Those disasters get served up in my house
