Granola and protein bars

I love granola bars for a snack, but recently, my favorite brand changed their recipe. Now they're too sticky and sweet. Gravely disappointing, as I loved their granola bars. What brands of granola and protein bars do you enjoy? I'm looking for a replacement.

I have tried pretty much all of the lower priced brands of protein and granola bars and of all of them, Quaker is my favorite for granola bars, while Nature Valley makes my favorite protein bars. The store brands are okay in a pinch, but you can definitely tell a difference.

I really like Nature Valley's Oat and Honey granola bars. They've been around forever, but they're still my favorite store-bought bars.

Granola and granola bars, though, are so much better when homemade. Admittedly, I use so much dried fruit that the bars turn out as granola clusters instead. That's okay with me because the taste is there, regardless of form.

I might have to try my hand at making my own granola bars. That way, I'll have total control over the ingredients and I can make it however I like. It isn't too hard to find granola these days!
