My Favorite Recipe: Cauliflower Steaks
A simple, delicious way to get your daily veggies!
2 cauliflower heads
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cp olive oil
1 tsp chopped parsley
Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
Remove outer green leaves and trim stem.
Cut lengthwise through center.
Cut "steaks" in about 1.5 inch slabs.
Repeat until you have 4 - 8 steaks (depending on size)
Place steaks on a rimmed baking sheet.
Mix seasonings in a small bowl
Drizzle steaks with olive oil on both sides.
And evenly distribute seasoning (about 1/4 tsp per side)
Tightly cover baking sheet with foil and bake for 5 minutes.
Remove foil and roast for 10 minutes.
Gently flip the steaks and roast until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes)
