Looking for volunteer for research project

I am working on a research project at the University of Aberdeen.

We are looking for volunteers to participate in an online interview, exploring the general population’s views and experience of the methods used to communicate overweight by Health Practitioner’s.

Do you have experience discussing your weight and its possible health risks with a healthcare professional i.e. GP’s and practice nurse’s or anyone else in the health sector or have you not yet had this discussion but would like to?

We are looking for individuals who have been resident in the UK for the previous 12 months who currently have or have had a Body Mass Index above 25kg/m2. You can take part in this discussion whether you have or don’t have any weight related health conditions (i.e type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cardiovascular disease)

The interview will take place online using a video calling (you will be sent a link to connect with the researcher) and will take around 60 minutes to complete, and can be done at any time to fit with your schedule.

If you are interested in finding out more about this study, please let me know (m.bourgein.18@abdn.ac.uk) and I can send you more details.

Many thanks

Michelle
