Next Wednesday is the day I try the jeans on ... the last I had tried them on was before I started this thread so I'm hoping the 4 week lifting booster and meal plan I've stuck to for leaner results! I've just been feeling really positive and slimmer but as they took my scales off me because they said they are pointless at this stage I have no weigh but how I feel to measure myself, maybe this is a good thing?
My stats were
20 to 10
10 to 14
14 to .... waiting on 10 but know the 12's are loose

PurpleJ. My first journey was from 20 to 10 and all the way I had 2 goals ... 1 was weight (the half a stone point and the next stone down) because for some yes we should ignore the scales but at the bigger me that wasn't the case and the 2nd goal was the next size down. Each time I hit one of them I felt motivated therefore I stayed motivated , I don't like long drawn out only the end target to head for I think thats where people are more likeoly to fail. YAY for the 20's feeling bigger on you #boom

Spoonymoose it depends what you are doing to achieve your jean size target. Exercise? Is it intense or light or diet/healthy eating or of course both. I have gone a different way about reaching my goals this time round. When I was just eating good it was roughly 1 stone a jean size.

Christina set both as goals

Wow you've done amazingly well then to have been a 20 and now heading into those 10's. I truly hope they fit for you

I am looking forward to the goals as you say half a stone at a time then dress sizes. I won't try any jeans on till these are hanging though as the next size down I bought in a charity shop and hated them.. so will have to treat myself to some new ones this time around I think - so the smaller the better .

I've got some nice 14's for when I get there.. anything smaller than that and I'll be buying from new - last time I wore 12's was pre-children! lol I remember throwing them in the charity bag laughing that 'I'll never fit into those again' when my eldest was a baby.. she's 16 now. So.. now is the time, it may be next year of course but that's ok.

I've always wanted to get back into a 12 jeans. I've got a new pair waiting in the wardrobe. My 14s are hanging off and looking stupidly baggy so maybe now is the time to try the 12s But it's a bit of a cheat because they're from Next, and they always come up big. But the label says 12, so who cares!

This is such a great idea! I would love to get back into my size 10 jeans but I haven't been in those for about 11 years
I am in a 14/16 now (depending on the shop - I am in a 12 from Next!) so maybe I can drop the stone and a half that I need to and see where I am at!

Good luck to everyone on their jeans journey x

I find NEXT are all round realistic sizes for today's women and comfortable but for many shops or styles I'm finding either:
1. Waist size is just right but top thigh area is uncomfortable
2, Waist size is one too big but I'm more comfortable in the top thigh area

Really gets to me.

I'm very similar Wobbles. I have a small-ish waist but bigger thighs thanks to my mum's genes. I like Next as they're always comfortable.

I absolutely hate my thighs, my biggest problem area although on measurements last week my coach said they weren't big ... he's not been a woman and tried to fit into clothes that accommodate my waist, tum and thighs at same time perfectly I am back into some of my 10's but I want more results, I need more lol!

Well I got into my size 12 jeans yesterday and they were so comfortable! They're shape enhancers and have to say, they looked fab! 😆
