I can get on board with losing 8 pounds by St. Patrick's Day. That's about 2 months away so, without looking at a calendar, I'm guessing we're aiming for roughly a pound a week? I'd say that's easily doable.

Great to see the enthusiasm. 1lb a week, it's pretty simple but for some reason it's often not that easy.
Diet: eat more healthily, more veg, less crap, drink more water, don't inhale food like it's an emergency

Sounds good to me and very achievable!
I did a quick search for 'a weight loss plan' on facebook as I don't want to diet as such, and now have some great ideas, bring it on! Going to combine a 9 day cleanse followed by 'sensible' eating with interval training exercise and coconut oil... here goes
By the way, for me, sensible eating is cutting out carbs like white bread and pasta and also sugar and just having smaller portions really.
