Good going! Apparently the course is flat for the 10k but my route here isn't, far from. Maybe I need to find another run route!

Will defo be stalking...I'm in the stages of considering (lol I don't want to commit yet) a 10k in June for the Race For Life! I have a lot of training to do so I don't know yet.

Maybe if you're training route is tougher than your actual route it will make it easier??

Think it probably will and many have said adrenaline will be full force on day and pushes you more.

I have sucked for various reasons but I am confident. April is work out run workout run workout run .... I'm well and truly stepping this sh** up! I've got through shin splints, bad AF and now through poorly children but I can't fail now this month. I can't start until Monday properly but it's full steam ahead. I know I can do it

of course you can do it ! how are you little ones doing ? such a nightmare when kiddos are sick !

so my 6.40 miles actually my race was a little over 10 k !! last week end but what i learned is number one i had no clue i was going to climb a freaking mountain ( elevation up to 1500 feet so almost 400 meters !! ) took me 1hours and 35 minutes to finish the trail was very muddy due to rain the previous days ...was so high we even had stairs to climb about 50 !!! lol . i came in 87th place out of 200 people and number 7th out of 9 woman in my age group ! lol . my friend Vero came in overall 11 th !!! and first place in her range group ! ( she is being running for over 10 years !! she is very inspirational to me ) she clock in at 1hours 4 minutes so if yu think about time wise i was not to to far behind . btw way a woman won the race over a man she clock in at 54 minutes !!! imagine over 10 k !!!

i find that for first time runners obviously its about finishing and not dying out there lol ! but nicely surprise how even the good runners are so encouraging to other .

i am sign in for a other 10 K ( flat course that one ) on April 27th and a other 7 miles so over 11.5 kilometer in May 17th this one again up and down trail . but think its good training for my half marathon in June .

you will do great on yours i am sure

I had a problem with my knee yesterday again so I'm seriously hoping this isn't something long term problem wise that I've not known before because I was sat on my butt!

Yesterday was full on but today is a home workout. Yer I am going to push myself some days but not every day or I will overdo myself and I have to work

Will update later how I get on with my home workout. Yesterday I took myself to only what my body said for each exercise.

Good idea listening to your body!! Don't wanna burn out, although your workouts sound fab.

I also really struggle with catching my breath outside, I wonder what it is?? I've never smoked really either so makes you wonder.
