I want to do 10k in the hour but that will be light running and power walking hun. Away from the race I would then like to aim for straight 5k light running (not sprinting) x

![LOL](https://www.socialslimmers.com/images/smilies/chuckle.gif) we're doing the Manchester 10k for charity! Wobbs is running 4darcie and I'm doing it for pancreatic cancer action! It's actually more fun than I expected and I've always been an only if being chased by a big dog runner too!

I am not at the fitness level of 10k straight, no way. Will be run and power walk. Every time I run my chest hurts, I guess although I have quit smoking it is still on my chest. I have read it can be up to around a year before my lungs are cleared. I guess you have the advantage of less body weight PP? What weight are you now? x

how to you like your new trainers shoes ?
doing a 6 miles race ( 9.6 kilometers less then 10 K as they cleaning the roads for spring and sponsors had to re do the race course ! lol ) on Sunday ( so the race is a race dirt road and hilly !!! ) will let you know how i do but honestly they announcing rain as well so hoping to clock it in less then a 1.5 hour maybe.
