Does anyone own a juicer?

I've been dying to get one for years but they are incredibly expensive. Now that spring is here I keep thinking about all the lovely veggies that I can run through a juicer. Does anyone here have one? Do you use it enough to get your money's worth from it?

I think a blender is a better option IMHO. Drinking your calories is not always the best of plans anyhow, but with a blender, at least you keep all the fibre too, which slows gut emptying and helps with colon health etc

I own a juicer which I bought for around £90 which was a reduced price. I haven't used it nearly enough to make it worthwhile though!

I've recently ordered the JML rapido

I'm a bit of a sucker for kitchen gadgets and really wanted the Kenwood SB266 smoothie maker (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-0WSB.../dp/B0014IOB3E) but the rapido looks like it will have more use.... fingers crossed!

I don’t own a juicer and I’ve never considered buying one. I have been using my regular blender to make smoothies and shakes for years. There are also a lot more nutritional benefits associated with blending.
