Juicing Reboot Versus Chewing

I'm interested in rebooting my system by straight juicing for seven days, but I can't get past the second day before the overwhelming desire to chew instead of sip kicks in. Chewing gum doesn't help.

My teeth have this ridiculous argument that I signed up for this, and they didn't. They want to chew. They win.

Has anyone done this and won the chewing argument with their teeth? I could use some tips.

I totally get this! When I lost weight before, I did a number of juicing and liquid fasting kinds of periods and the chewing craving would always kick in. This is going to sound strange, but my nutritionist said (back then), that I should cut some celery sticks and chew the heck out of them and then spit out the fiber part at the end of each bite. That way, your mouth gets a good workout and celery is super crunchy so, it seemed to work well for me! Good luck!

I don't think I could cope with a juice detox. Good luck X
