Tea recommendations?

I love tea but I am not very knowledgeable about the different kinds and I get a little overwhelmed at the store. Mainly I just buy green tea, chamomile, ginger tea, or chai tea.

I want to branch out and try some new ones but don't want to spend money and end up with something I don't like. What do you guys like? Anything I should try?

Where I live, there are a number of tea bars that offer inexpensive samples and provide great insight to different kinds of tea. Many times they'll have samples available you can smell, which is often a great indicator of how it'll taste. I greatly dislike grocery store teas--they're lower quality, they don't last as long, and the taste pales in comparison to loose leaf.

I really love jasmine green tea. Earl Grey creme is excellent if you can find it. Adagio Teas has a version called Earl Grey Moonlight that's fantastic.

Could you try a multi pack of assorted tea bags?
It would give you an idea which ones you like and then you'll be able to buy a pack of them. I like fennel tea which is good for digestion and valarian tea which is good for sending you to sleep!

I think it depends on your personal taste. The only tea flavor I like is hazelnut, so I'm not of much help.

You can buy the generic or store brand teas to try out to see if you like them. The generics are cheaper than the name brands, and taste isn't always much different than the name brands.
