Low Carb Diet Reverses Eye Disease And Obesity!

Check this article out where they talk about how a low carb diet actually reversed Grave's disease in one man, and obesity in another woman.

Since I have lowered my carbs, I feel a major difference in my overall health.

Wow they have done really well!

I have lowered my carbs too although definitely not to a keto level. I eat more carbs on the days that I workout, but I do feel a lot better for lowering my carbs. I used to be constantly hungry and my blood sugar was always dipping and leaving me feeling awful, but I'm fuller for so much longer and feel a lot better these days

My husband has almost completely come off of his diabetes medications just by changing to a low carb diet and losing weight. He looks better, feels better, and we save money on medications.

I agree with Tinks. I've been on low carb so long now that a high carb day makes me feel just wretched. I've finally found the level that consistently seems to work for me --- around 50 - 60 grams per day and still losing weight. I figure I will be able to go up a bit once I meet goal, but I don't think I'll ever go back to the levels I was at before.

I absolutely can testify to the graves article. I have lost 3 stone in a year and my levothroid meds are down 60%. Anyone with hypothyroidism will tell you how vile they feel. And the battle with ever climbing cholesterol is never ending. ITS A LIE!! Get rid of the high carb diet. Put butter on your veg. Oil on your salad. Enjoy the skin on chi ken. Hang the wallpaper with porrige. Lose 3 stone without saggy bits at 55 yippee. Liberated. Eggs n bacon with mushrooms and tomatoes for breakfast.
Aubergine parmiggiano with a rocket salad for lunch and 3 course dinner including welsh lamp chops with mint sauce and dessert. Trust me ive never felt better and not gaining a pound. I no longer drag my self around. Shiver all day. Fall asleep and suffer perm brain fog. Miss the crusty bread with fresh cold butteron it? You bet!! But the trade off is worth it. And i dont have one hungry or bored minute.!

The ketogenic diet has recently been shown to preserve our eyesight thanks to research from the Northeast Ohio Medical University in the United States, which used an experiment on mice to demonstrate that it can assist glaucoma patients to maintain their vision.
