Here in spain if you want patties you choose the cut of meat and ask them to mince it for you on the butchers counter. In uk the best 100% mince in the chiller i guess and make them yourself. Same with deli meats. Look at the label. Ham will have sugars in the list from the preserves. Plain boiled ham from the deli counter is neg in carbs as is parma ham. Bacon too. Maple cured canadian bacon is not cured with nitrates and preserved with e nos n sugars. Its a minefield at first but you really do get to prefer the food without the additives.
