Atkins

Back on it....I always seem to radiate back here for some reason.

I've had a week off and feel bloated so felt this was the better option. I feel I can't cheat on this

Induction day 2

I have forgotten how hard each day is in the first week

But I got through day 1 and feel less bloated already. Roll on fitting into my jeans better. No going back. Ever

How hard is it to keep off the carbs? Does your body give you really bad cravings?

I've looked at low carb diets. I'm just not sure how my body would react since I crave carbs on a normal day

It is alot easier than you think Mitch. Ok in the first 5 days you can have some pretty bad headaches, lethargy, cravings etc but around day 5/6 you will have NO more cravings or hunger. Eating little and often is good and plenty of veg and salad. Snack on chicken/ham/eggs. I eat one atkins bar at night as a treat. I also occasionally have an atkins shake too instead of breakfast. My brother has followed this from after xmas and he got to his target liss of 2st within 3 months and is comfortably keeping his weight stable. He can now have wholegrains/oats/nuts/fruit again
