Artificial or real Christmas tree?

What do you put up?

We had a really Christmas tree for first time in 2011 and it was just a must for 2012, hope to squeeze the pennies for a real one again this year plus the girls then got to decorate my artificial one for the hallway they loved it.

What about you?

I have 2 artificial ones plus another smaller one. Does the real ones drop needles? Are they expensive? I'd realky love one but would want to put it up on 1st and keep it up till january. Would it last? X

Ours last from 3rd right through paid about £60 but it was massive. Had no issue with needles, yes some fall but it wasn't a problem ... If they all fall off then there's a problem with your tree lol!

I love them now much more of a Christmas feel, can't explain

I love real ones, but til the small One grows up a but there's no chance! My tree last year went up around the 2nd week of December and then came down after a few days cos she lept pulling the balls off it and trying to climb it so we're fake for now!

I would love to have a real tree. They smell so good. My money is too limited right now and since I am living by myself, no one would see it anyway. Last year I just set up the top part of my artificial tree rather than put up the whole thing.

I haven't found it messy? When you move the tree yes but a quick Hoover and it's done the biggest mess made was when I scratched all the ruling with the top of it LOL
