How are you all?

So how is everyone coping with the worlds pandemic coved-19? Bored? Using the time off to do DIY?

I think I have stages of both. I have been fortunate to continue working and my income has not be impacted but working routine took a lot of getting use to from home, I don’t think I like home based work something I am sure before this pandemic I said would be a dream come true, I miss the office environment even though I was only a small office team.

Hope everyone and their loved ones are safe and well.

Numbers are getting better! I can’t decide if I’m with those who think there will be a second wave or those who think we are nearing the end to numbers we hoped we’d never seen over these few weeks.

I carried on working as I am now... when I'm allowed.

I'm isolating for 14 days due to contact at work for the first time and have to say I'm really annoyed. As care workers we are told to not come into work, don't leave your home and then they have the f***ing cheek to pay us a fraction of our wages.

My my nice 'bonus' came through today the £500, the one that we paid tax and national insurance on, joke right? But not a bonus for me it's replacing my wages because we get no thanks when it matters.

Can you tell I'm annoyed

Anyway I have eventually finished the painting in my downstairs hall and the stair way, just some eggshell to finish then I'll get to the top landing, also spent 6hrs sorting the garage which desperately needed doing.

Second wave has me on pins again. How are you atm Izzy? x

Sorry Izzy I didn't see this.

Was it good to get back to the office for a short period, assuming you did?

I've struggled mentally and financially through this pandemic and when you get given hope hope was snatched away again. I will survive this and try and rain positive saying that over and over again to myself. Wobbles that really sucks. You would think someone would look after you guys, seems your jobs aren't as invaluable as it once was made out WRONGLY may I add. I hope you find your way through and don't have to go through that again. So many wages need looked at, you aren't paid enough as it is.

I've done some home projects but I admit I haven't had motivation when I haven't know what will be next when things will change will it get worse or better for me when etc etc etc

TheCat *hug* it's so hard at the moment, I hope you've found ways to get through and have support around you

My motivation has sucked too, so many used it as an opportunity to get motivated but I simply haven't had it in me. I'm doing 'ok' but I can't say I'm where I once was loving it because I don't yet I crave it.

I personally had a hard time with everything. It's a good thing the pandemic is behind us.
