Newbie to any kind of diet

Hi All

Total noob here. I went through a pretty awful year last year, and I have always been terrible for comfort eating.

It didn't really have an affect me when I was younger, now I'm over 30 the weight piled on. I decided after xmas that enough was enough and I'd find a diet I could do which wasn't going to make me hungry.

As a coeliac it wasn't easy to find something that fitted, plus I've always been against dieting as it never seemed to work for friends/family. Slimming World seemed the best fit after reading tons and tons about it.

And here I am, 1 week in a 2lb down already.

Fingers crossed for weigh in this week.

Hi FelixPaws

Welcome to Social Slimmers

Fab on your first check-in!

Comfort eating find better choices to nibble on and drink lot's of water!

I’m also horrible with comfort eating and last year was really hard... went through marriage breakdown, homelessness, miscarriage and end up being single mum. That was all in a year and I end up getting so big that my family started to worry... and I must admit it wasn’t easy to stop eating for comfort... I’ve also chose SW as seems like everyone is loosing weight on that. Wishing you all the best in your journey
