Hi lee my advice if you can get to a group the people are inspirational! If not try not worry as that weight loss is a healthy loss and well done ! Try up your syns slightly 5-10 as your body will adjust better and restricting to much can be worse as body stores. I think anyway lol

Hi there. SW is a long-term eating plan so to lose 2lb a week is spot on. Losing weight more quickly is not sustainable in the long run. Your syns are there to be used. It won't affect your weight loss. Cutting out syns can be counter productive and you might lose weight slower. If you deprive yourself completely you run the risk of bingeing at a later date, and also your body might go into starvation mode. So following the plan as it is intended is honestly the best way. Drink plenty of fluids and do a bit of exercise, and you should get great results.

Hi and welcome to Social Slimmers! That is a great weight loss so far. Slow and steady weight loss is more sustainable long term, so don't worry, you're doing great

Welcome to social slimmers!

I echo everyone else. Use your syns. Even if it's only the minimum of 5 a day.
You'll be surprised how much your losses will increase when you use your syns. Your body needs those foods to help it work harder to process everything.
As a seasoned SW'er, (6+ years) I know what I've seen happen, and those that don't use their syns have a couple of good losses and then they stop.
Plus, as Ali says it helps stop the feeling of deprivation and you are less likely to binge on foods you could have had during the week by using your syns.
