Hi, everyone

I am going on holiday in three weeks (last minute booking) and I would like to shed a few pounds before I go,

I was thinking of giving slimming world a go. I joined many years ago when the plan was red and green but I gave up after only a week, I think it was because I'm not keen on the whole slimming club thing.

All I can remember about the plan is 2HA's 2HB's + free foods + 15 sys

Any advice on extra easy would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there and welcome!

I can't speak to the red and green plan as I'm an extra easy gal myself. On extra easy you get one healthy A and one healthy B, all free foods and 5-15 syns per day. There are also speed foods, where they recommend that they should make up a third of each meal.

Do you think it might be worth going to a meeting to get the books and then doing it from home? I only stayed to group for three weeks as it wasn't for me, but I've found it quite easy to maintain on my own and with the support of the lovely people on this forum.

You can check out the SW recipes in that forum, plus reading the dieting journals a bunch of us have might give you some ideas. We'll certainly help and advise as best we can

I have found so many great recipes on here today I cant wait to get started.
