Post breast cancer, need to keep trim!

Hi everyone,

I put on quite a lot of weight last year during my breast cancer treatment and I am now taking at least 5yrs of anti-hormone tablets which make losing weight even harder. I have just had my 1st yearly mammogram and all is fine

However, the cancer consultant told me that I can help myself by keeping within a healthy bmi range and getting some exercise every day. So I am following the slimming world diet at home and am feeling positive. I have joined social slimmers to help me keep motivated and also to get some ideas for low syn or syn free recipes.

Hi there, and welcome! Great to have you here, and we're all here to offer support wherever we can.

You'll find lots of recipes in the Slimming World Recipes forum. You can also have a peruse of the Dieting Journals to get some ideas on what other people are eating

So glad to hear that your first mammogram came back all fine. Must be such a relief, I can't even imagine!

Best of luck, and looking forward to seeing you around the forum.
