motivation needed


hi im ally,
i lost 3 stone last year and have managed to put it all back on --to put it bluntly im really p£$%ed off with myself .
i got down to a size 10/12 9st 6 ---i felt amazing .

now im back at 12 6 and size 16 ..im sooo depressed .
i start a diet every monday and cave in by tuesday .

please can someone give me some encouragement and motivation
i dont have any real female friends to talk to and im getting really down about my weight.

i would love some friends in the liverpool area -but help from anywhere would be greatly appreciated

Hey! I'm in the same boat, I'm looking for a penpal to support each other on our weight loss journeys. I'm from Scotland, a few years ago I lost 5 stone but I've gained it all back plus extra. I want to lose weight again but I need help.

Hi and welcome to Social Slimmers! Making small changes is a good start as it can feel too overwhelming and resistive to change too much at once.
Sometimes getting into a new habit is the hardest part but it gets easier.

Hi Ally, welcome to the forum.

I've done exactly the same thing as you, lost almost 2.5 stone, and then put it all back on over 18-ish months. I'm still working on getting rid of it again, but I'll get there so I know exactly how you feel!

Do you have a particular plan that you would like to follow?

Hi Ally!

Welcome to Social Slimmers.

I did similar last year and the way forward was to stop beating myself up, it was what it was and only I could sort it and I motivated myself forwards.

Put an old pic of you on your fridge?
Create mini targets rather than aiming for the final goal?
