Hi everyone! Just wanted to say hello. Me and my boyfriend decided today to join the Slimming world, he's really keen on losing weight (He's gained quite a lot since we got together) and as for me, I'm quite slim myself and most people would think I'm silly for joining this, but I'm doing this to support him and help him as much as I can and just be in it together, plus I'm hoping to just benefit from it in general, eat more healthy and cut down on my cake eating(I do have a bit of a belly from it, so I suppose I will lose something from it!) We both work different shifts and probably won't be able to go the classes and group meetings. Is there anyone else doing it from home? We do have the books about all the foods and how many syns are in there etc... Just hoping we'll get the results by doing it ourselves. Any other suggestions apart from just eating the right foods and not using syns too much?

Good for you for being supportive of your partner but like you say you can benefit from better eating too

Home cooking is always the best way forward.
