New and looking for tips!

I think that the journey of weight loss takes time so I am proud that I have been exercising 5 times a week for 4 months and have seen great results. But I seem to be losing inches and not a lot of weight. Does anyone have any good tips to help with the weight loss?

Wow. Five times a week for four months! I think you're the one that could be offering us tips! Congrats!

Sounds like you're doing everything right. You're losing inches. It could just be that you haven't lost pounds because you've traded lean muscle for fat. Muscle weighs more.

I know I have found lots of great tips in all the threads here. I'm sure you'll find a lot of them too!

I lost half of my weight fairly quickly at the beginning of the year then I joined the gym ... I started losing half the weights and almost seen the gym as a bad thing for that point of my journey but I'd taken a tip to do some measurements and like you the inches were off. This has made me very happy and personally I was happy for a slower loss on the scales while seeing the inches reduce and my whole body shape change through exercise.

Everyone hold weights differently. I've read people at 9 stone and a size 10, I am 10.6-10-10 stone and a size 10. I've taken measurements and regular photos... I get great motivation creating compare pictures!

My tip is to continue to eat healthy and carry on exercising

Hi and welcome!

It sounds like you're doing so well already with all the exercise. Maybe you are gaining some muscle weight. The fact that you are losing inches shows that what you are doing is working, so I would certainly continue with this!
