I'm not sure where iI am with this but I know towards the end of last week I wasn't craving or evening thinking about going outside for a cigarette for longer periods of time whereas before although yes I'd cut down it was on my mind a lot. I smoked a fair bit on the weekend when drinking, think I felt a bit daft with my vaping in front of a crowd so opted for outside. Think I am heading to stopping now ... eek!

Well I am doing ok, I slipped backwards but not too badly. I don't think now is the right time to completely throw them aside but after I am back from Northern Ireland I will ... I'm going there fore NYE ... everyone smokes but nowhere near what I did so it won't be so bad x

A little update.

I did quite well up until th new year time when I went away and I didn't vape very much at all. I creeped back up to 20 cigarettes. Enough was enough no more 'cutting down' ... I had my last cigarette Monday 20th January around 11pm and have been nearly 60 hours cigarette free (I have an app that counts the hours) , 99.43 cigarettes eliminated and saved £36.05 - Figures based on 40 a day which is where I would have still been at had I not started the process to stop!

Despite vaping (which I am on a low mg) I found day 2 quite tough and today a little more on edge, I would have thought it got a little easier each day but seems day 1 was easier. Weird ... I'm sure I will get through day 3 though!

Congrats on getting through almost 60 hours of quitting! That's so good! The app sounds like a great way to motivate yourself to keep going. Best of luck!

by 11pm tonight I'd have got passed a week Day 2 & 3 were the worst and on the weekend I was visiting a friend, I swore I'd cave but I was fine even ignored the cigarette counter around midnight when I went round the corner to late garage for some lemonade (yes walked lol). Really must have helped she isn't a smoker.

Feeling really good about it today
