Eating well when you are pregnant

Hard to do when you get bad cravings specially when you crave carbs all day long ! lol

if you have any tips how to swap "bad food " for a more healthy approach and still satisfied your craving please share !

i tried to swap as much my bread craving for "wholegrain " types of bread instead of just reaching out for the white bread .

i also find myself struggling to eat protein while pregnant and any type of dairy product also just start recently to eat in my second trimester yogurt again ( both protein/ dairy ).

I've stopped buying white bread in our house now

Is it pregnancy that has put you off diary? X

I was just thinking cracker breads are a good alternative for lunch if you don't want the bread, I used to eat them with low fat phili and cucumber etc.

When I was pregnant I have been feeling sick from any food for around 5 months. After that I had pretty healthy cravings. And how much I craved cheese and salads, oh dear, haha. But my boy is healthy and very strong, maybe thanks to all calcium I was eating. I remember I tried to eat apples as snacks, get all kind of variety of foods, like peas, corn, depending on what I fancy. Surprisingly I don't remember actually craving anything too unhealthy and I used to be on my feet at work all the time. It helped to stay more fit and be able to walk last weeks of pregnancy.

I am craving carbs as well and eating lots of rice cakes and peanut butter which I guess isn't too bad. Trying to be much healthier this time round. I do have a reduced appetite so don't feel like much at the moment.
