BMI midwife weigh in tomorrow

I had to see a special midwife basically so she could tell me I was fat As I had a BMI of 32.

Well she said I should "allow" 9kg weight gain due to the eating habits I must have I have weighed myself this morning and I have only put on 4.8kg she can shove that where the sun doesn't shine.

I haven't even dieting that much as they told me off for that as well

I have just under 6 weeks left.

Already planning to start SW as soon as I can. I will be joining a group this time I think as last time I didn't and I lost my motivation.

They said that I wasn't allowed to diet because I wouldn't be allowing baby to get the nutrients it needed, BUT if you have a BMI over 35 in booking appointment you are given FREE membership to SW??

When you say add do you mean calories wise or weight wise (I have only just got up )

If calories they say stick to 2000 1st and 2nd tri then 200 extra 3rd tri. I always have had 1800 so I guess I was under anyway.

I have no idea about weight gain because I was told a number I was "allowed" to gain and told not to go over it!

I forgot to say she was actually really nice and said I should be proud of myself for not gaining too much.

It wasn't the same lady as last time so it wasn't that bad.

That's a load of crap ... Eating 1800 calories of good nutritious food is going to give your baby far more nutrients than say 2,500 a day of junk!!

As long as you are eating healthily and taking into account the extra calories needed during the later stages then I see no reason why not to diet
