I did a couple of days intense gardening and left it at that! The final straw was accidentally touching a slug I screamed, a lot!

I believe that housework can serve as exercise if you do it at a fast pace. You should perform the tasks as you perform a workout. Make a list of your chores beforehand and knock them out consecutively in a quick manner. Stay moving and you will burn those calories.

I have never really counted my housework as exercise. I know that any type of movement can burn calories but, when I think of exercise, I think of sustained movement like walking, running, or activities where you repeat movements like weights or lifts.

I never actually count it as exercise on MFP but yes it certainly counts and burns calories!
